I can see showers quickly forming around Heathrow, nothing falling here, yet.

Also if you scroll through HARMONIE the Dutch model you can see the rash of showers moving anywhere from SW to due W later on....

I hope that all see some snow tonight. When those really brutal 850s come over the north sea later, we should see a jump up in convection and then hopefully more snow!!! I've got just over 1cm covering here in margate, but better than Ive had in 5 years! Hoping cloud continues to build so the sun doesnt melt what's already there!

Let's hope so It's hard to think your only down the road from us in sheppey and we have had about 4 inches amazing as you can we've been sledging.

You cancelling your day off has paid dividends! Are we back in the game then?

I know, bloody typical!  I don't know whether to laugh or cry .  Now I am stuck at work, it will be sods law that a Thames streamer starts!

Providing its still there when we return from work I'll be happy.  Here's hoping for a Thames Streamer!

Is that for new snow or existing? I assume fresh snow???

Correct. Similar positioning to last night, perhaps a touch further west with a more E'ly flow overnight. Maidstone closed!

Radar is showing only light stuff but in reality it's heavy here.

Gillingham has gone to hell. Everything shut, roads are blocked. It’s beautiful to look at though!

It's snowing in Surbiton:) Heading off to Uxbridge shortly, so it will be interesting to see if those clouds over Heathrow have started to give some snow.

Just shy of 5 inches in Hawkhurst with 7-9 inches where drifting has occurred. Roads were really bad but starting to clear up a little more now. Wouldn't mind a couple inches top up tonight

I’m in sittingbourne pretty much opposite Southend and we have done very well. Between 12-15cm. Another 7 tonight would be great. Guessing another late night lol!
