Snow in Eltham that’s heavy! I’m in Lee right on the very edge of the snow line and can just about detect some dandruff falling. Things can only get better ( who sand that )?

Just got home from Heathrow - having flown in from NW Finland this morning. -18c when I left the hotel, -20c at Helsinki airport, and then no snow at all around Heathrow. Snow started to appear around Cobham services, then thankfully just got home as the snow turned to thick Handkerchiefs! If this contiunues we could have some epic depths.

Got down to -7.0C this morning, now at -0.5c.

Can feel the temp dropping off here iin the Surrey Hills, not that it was balmy to start with! Cloud base is dropping, clouds getting blacker and more joined up. The radar is certainly looking good for us now!

Snow is edging into the London area wind direction becoming more east, looking better for Surrey / SE London / NW Kent and more inland Essex.

Areas of snow definitely appear to be moving more toward WSW rather than SW on recent radar scans, winds along North Sea coasts Ely while NEly further west inland, could see snow across parts of SE London soon.

I bloody knew it!!  Cancelled my annual leave so now at work by London Bridge.  Great that we may see snow, but would rather have been at home as originally planned

Well, just as the snow arrives and turns heavier in SE25, I have to leave home for work at a snowless and probably sunny Heathrow, so know how you feel :D
