Showers direction of travel edging west for Greater London.. that is one the longest streamers I’ve even seen, looki like Hastings and much of coastal E Sussex has a covering of sorts by stubborn streamer.

Gurnsey seeing a lot! It’s just been persistent for them all day..

Can confirm. Very heavy snow, with large, fluffy flakes. Very nice surprise, and is accumulating rather fast!

Well, stick a fork in me,im done, good luck guy's for tonight, hopefull of getting in on the action overnight, but looking at the radar,I dont hold much hope, what showers that do get to me,fade away fast, nighty night

The shower that's just started here was next to nothing coming in from medway towns way,  but has strangely its moved inland and intensified a little opposite to normal like you say :cc_confused:

Must admit compared to what was forecasted so far it's over the top, just like this beast with people comparing it to 1991 lol

Oh dear Thanet again. Yep I actually (stupidly) thought we'd see a load of snow but... No. Even with an easterly and freezing temps everywhere else does better

Not just Thanet, look at the map of the SE currently! It was actually better in the evening and then as the night progressed they all but decayed. I think the wind change killed them off

Very strange, I expected lots of showers moving in by now, banding together. Well I can see a few flakes now in the wind but its been dry here since this morning, just the odd flurry.
