Definately ENE now this end of the Estuary after that brief NE flow

Problem is the showers seem to dye away once the flow turns more easterly.

Have you told the Met Office that ?

They are pinning their hopes on the Amber warning I would presume

Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. Normally I would be jumping for joy.....

They said 5-10cm if it carry’s on like this all night we should comfortably build that kind of depth.

Poxy weather can't even keep a decent snow shower going for more than 30mins :(

I'd say we have about 1 - 2cm covering here now.

Considering it was meant to kick off at 9pm I think it's going the opposite. Showers losing intensity and becoming less widespread.

Was this planned?

I noticed that too! It's going the other way, easterly is killing off the showers

No why has it now gone more east just as that massive blob over tonbridge wells was heading towards me. Now had heavy snow pass to my south and looks like this is going to my north lol ??

Just speaking from observation. I hope they are correct.

If it was longer than 30 minutes, it wouldn't be a shower :D

Unless anything’s changed the met office were always going for 2am for it to really kick in. This evening is just a bonus

Met seem pretty confident of the more organised bands of ppn coming off the North Sea with ENE winds from 2am given the amber warning, I’d expect the showers to start pepping up again closer we get to midnight

What's the latest forecast, is it supposed to intensify later or not until the morning, the forecast seems to have been continually evolving today and I have no idea what the latest thinking is?
