It’s been coming down here in Epsom now for a few hours. It comes in flurries but never quite stops. Got some photos on my phone I’ll try and pop on later. Pretty impressive so far. Wasn’t really expecting it either!

lovely to see powdery snow falling. The stuff later on this week will be thick and then wet and is going to cause absolute chaos!!!

Sunshine being blocked by heavy clouds offshore. Light flurries in the wind the temp still -1C. Do not expect much today with the pressure so high. The garden is proper frozen. But the BBC Say we will get too +2C. Just need that sun too pop out.

Take care and good health to you all.:hi:

Hi charlton,

That's a lovely photo. My sister, partner and little niece, will be overjoyed ( but not that it's stopped ). They live in Tubbenden Lane Sth, its fairly high there and just around the corner, from Farnborough Village.

Regards,

Tom.:hi:

My other half is in East London at the moment. He’s currently under blue skies but can see more clouds rolling in. This reminds me of when we were in the sweet spot all those years ago!

Very poor location for me (Horley/Gatwick) under such a set-up. ENE flow just doesn't cut it, being just too far south and just too far west. Need a NE'ly here. Hoping for that frontal opportunity to deliver later in the week. Can clearly see the shower train running just north of me, hence photos from family and friends in Sutton and Croydon posting heavy snow with some accumulations (in-laws in elevated S.Croydon already past 2cms this morning). So, I suspect unless the flow changes, if you have snow now, you'll probably keep it all day. Enjoy!

Famous last words it was like that here 5 minutes ago. Visibility markedly dropped and throwing it down!
