Ooo this next cloud looks a bit more beefy. Lots of small scudders that couldn't coat a gnat with graupel.. we need more of the big dark mothership kind. It's going dark.

Looks like the sky is clearing, cloud breaking and the sun is coming up beautifully. Been under the heavy precipitation on the radar but not one flake! 

Still im keeping optimistic! ?

Yes definitely clear and not even a heavy frost just up the road at Charlwood. Red sunrise though. I think it's going to be around lunchtime that we see some showers here.

The air coming from the continent is very dry - hence the lack of frost...

I do not comment on netweather as I just enjoy reading and getting to grips with all the weather stuff. However, I was glued to my phone for this cold spell and now I can finally say it is snowing in Cobham!
