Light snow here about a mile from the coast. An icing sugar covering (Light dusintg?)in some spots and on tops of cars ets. Encouraging start!

Sorry didn't realise the thread had split areas.

I hope you all get obscene amounts of snow! (For those that want it)

i've switched to the Buienradar satellite image which shows clear development in the far reaches of the Thames Estuary . . . the radar on the same site shows nothing interesting

Great News for those further west in the region and inland, showers over Norwich, shower near Ipswich and these are all heading SW and not WSW, so more of a North Easterly flow to them, bodes well for tomorrow and places such as Bed, Bucks and London etc and also furthr west into Sussex, Hampshire etc

The flow looks WSW to me on the meto radar, but being in Sussex I’m very happy to be wrong about this?
