Nah your better staying here as your weather will be far more comparable to the areas south of the river due to possible streamer which you'd likely get in East Ham in any ENE flow.

I’m in Chingford, so will probably have to hop between both threads!

Splitting the thread has been done for practical reasons so that everyone can keep up and the dividing line has to be somewhere and the Thames is a natural choice. No one is stopping you post into either thread

Sorry it’s daft .  Splitting London up , and designed to just annoy members who enjoy the banter . What happens to people who dare to break this diktat and post in the wrong thread . Anyway as I’m a floater with no home thread I’ll just post anywhere .

I’m Southend and staying here as we’re likely to be more in-line with SE weather due to influence of the Thames Estuary.

Yeah, surely it should be London & The South-East, Kent, Sussex, Surrey etc..

Then East Anglia? Doesn't make sense splitting London in half.

What if you live just outside on London but north of the Thames like Denham in Bucks... thats Home Counties but only 3 miles west of London... this is all very confusing.

Honestly you’ve just messed up a great thread on the cusp of the best cold spell in years. But who am I to argue. You guys run this place.

Minor adjustments today on the reliable short/medium range model MOGREPS highlighting risk of brief return to less cold conditions for E+W next wkd before turning very cold again. Ties in well with both 12Z Euro and UKMO global models. Cold not going anywhere fast.

Should be a third thread ‘not a cat in hell’s chance of a covering’. A few of us would be well placed in there ?

That's the one for me, not expecting anything so therefore won't be disappointed, kinda got used to no snow

Free the coldies of South Essex. We want to stay ??

When this happened in the past, I was very naughty and stayed (especially as I was often the one setting up the threads back then :p

All looking promising over the next few days, enjoy it!

I'm staying here if that's ok with all you guys and gals south of the river. I'm south Essex so as @kold weather says this seems to be a better home for us.

I think it’s better for us S.Essex lot here, we’re the mouth of the Thames streamer to feed everyone else who’s snow starved, ENE direction that is ??
