Can anyone confirm whether the cloud has started rolling into EA yet?

Going cloudy this end of the Estuary already, lost the clear skies now

For those not up to date, the ECM is essentially an upgrade for the Thursday night/ Friday blizzard event for our area. While the low pressure does take a pretty unusual path and hasn't really shifted south as such, it seems it's struggling to bring in proper mild uppers (no higher than -2° is shown). While some are quick to label this as a snow-to-rain event, from what I can make out even with -2/-3 uppers we can still get an all-snow event with this frontal precip due to the very low surface temps.
The ECM then goes on for a cold re-load next week.

Fingers crossed Paul! Just moved to Leigh on sea a few months ago from Basildon, made sure we was still in the firing line from a Thames streamer, surely that has to add to the house value ?

Another islander ?? just noticed in the last hour humidity gone from 58% to 67% any reason as to why?

Yes born and bred islander, rarely do we get high chances of snow! Anyway this will be due to the colder uppers edging  there way in now, bringing convective and more unstable airflow, game is on now, busy week ahead, isn’t it chilly outside now, crystal clear sky’s now though, have a look.

I`m not trying to cherry pick here but after looking at the Met office warnings this week, they have nothing for Thursday.

Arpege has other ideas.

I'd imagine if their own model stands firm with regard to snow on Thursday into Friday then they'd add a warning at some point tomorrow?

That’s based on GFS at long range, not picking up most convection.

?? What ??

It's a radar, nothing to do with GFS long range or any kind of range . . .
