Local farmer has cleared some of the side roads and dumped it over the other side of the road it is roughly 6-7ft high!! 

I think it might be there a while!

Still snowing in Stroud :0

Going on for another 7 hours of snow today, hard to measure but at least another   10cm added to yesterday's snowfall.

quite amazing!

@karlos1983 might lose his snow before me since he’s removed the ice rink that formed on top of it  :p

That's what I was doing today, snowplough wasn't able to cope with the drifts so had to go and get a loader+big bucket, 3hrs to do this road, drifts were 5ft+ with one that was over 7ft, all cleared now but suspect that by morning it will be blocked again (not as bad mind)

Thanks everyone for a great forum and especially to the regulars for putting up with us lurkers.

I missed the worst (best!) of the blizzard here in Wembury, SW Devon, but I had a great first course of powder snow on Wednesday and a little dessert course of freezing rain last night.  Nothing to cause a problem, but enough to say I’ve seen freezing rain!

Here are a few pictures to give a view of the condition across our region.

Wembury, 85m ASL and 1 mile inland.

we Had 3 redwings here all afternoon digging for bugs in the gravel drive.  Haven’t seen them for many years.

just to say what a great friendly forum this is.

ive really enjoyed sharing the last few days and learned a lot from the very knowledgeable people on here.

the thaw is well under way.

lol yes my ice has been removed! But I’ve been having some fresh ice falling this evening ? 

still -0.7c here ?‍♂️

Which means I’ll have half an eye on that precip :spiteful:
