Nothing whatsoever here on the isle of Wight, despite what the radar might suggest. Going to be another non event again for us.

I agree shanklin is off to an awfully poor start. Vertical light snow. Let’s hope we can come back on the rails a bit later 😬

Remember a few weeks back, when we were over the moon to see and report, one or two flakes falling from the sky? :)

Can anybody tell me where I should be looking for the source of today’s snow? Is it on the French radar? I can see the moisture over Mid East Franch, but that looks too east?

Use https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar for now and http://www.weathercast.co.uk/radar/europe.html for later, focusing on the B of B.

:lazy:

My 6 year old daughter will be happy, her brothers schools agreed to close for today/ tomorrow already but hers were waiting until the morning. Can’t wait to see her little face 😃

The EURO4 has been s#&t lately, and continues to be so. Especially when you look at the predicted accumulated charts. Just an observation

I think the HIRLAM's been on it like a Dickensian Bonnet this week.

We finally have some proper settling snow in central Bournemouth. I've nly just woken up so I don't know what time it started but it's a light dusting.

Area of light snow to or south seems to be gradually increasing in intensity.

Um got a covering here and I thought we had no snow??

Morning from snowless East Devon. There are actually some tiny transparent ice 'flakes' falling and the occasional proper snowflake but nothing settling yet. Good luck all!
