The duration of overnight snow seems to have shortened.... again... for BS49.

Four hours and 3" of snow in the far east of the region last night - caught the sweet spot of a Thames streamer. It has been snowing moderately this morning for an hour or so. Blowing around, drifting and scouring in the wind. A brilliant period and more to come.

Which model to believe!! ARGEPE has 4 inches or more for everyone by tomorrow morning - EURO4 looks a little poor for Hampshire. Good luck all!!

Look, this snow now is bonus snow if you have it! Light snow on and off all day across the region, then the main course later

So can you please stop the frankly wrong  posts of non event, it’s if nothing else pessimistic, but actually dangerous if people look in here see a post and head out!

Exactly. This is the prawn cocktail starter before (hopefully) the main. Need a bit of lady luck down here on the coast to stay the right side of the temps.

Liking the radar from Bay of Biscay heading our way.

Oddly, some daffs this morning have decide to show themselves, they will be in for a shock later;

Radar doesn't fill me with confidence for the West Country.
