Shame the ppn seems to be converging just to the north of me. Still got light snow and occasionally moderate, and all the roofs look white again now.

Either way I’m absolutely stunned at the events of the last 36 hours. Historical!

i think it should be called the Kitchen sink storm! We’ve had everything!

First signs of the thaw setting here..

Same here, still the odd flake of snow too.

Looks like the military road blocked at the usual places again this time.

I think this beats the 2010 snow event based on the fact that it was late in the season and the unusual synoptics that caused it.

Just got in from work. What’s the latest on today’s snowfall? Looks to North for Somerset to me?

Snowing again in Warminster, may not add much to the existing 6 to 7 inches and drifts of a foot!

Novelty factor has completely worn off for us though! A lot of work to do this weekend to try and enable a return to work for my wife on Monday.

In the past councils would plough and grit every estate after snowfall, I bet Wiltshire Council won't!

No luck here, that developing precipitation band is just to the north, we'e right in the southern tip so just light snow on and off.

You should be getting what we have now, shortly.

Moderate falls, moderate flakes. It's heading your way.

It’s probably a redwing.  Seen several today.  Winter visitors from Scandinavia.

Just had two in the front garden, not seen any for a long time :)

My weather station says -0.7°C. I’ve also got a dangler sensor which says 0.0°C but more interestingly with last nights freezing rain the sensors now frozen onto the window and I can’t move the wire.

My anemometer is frozen so the wind is always in the East until it free's up...

hmm I dont think stuff over northern france is heading to us.

I thought this band was meant to just head north slowly?

I mentioned earlier it looked like it was orientating to the North and East of the SW. Good for points North and East of me as some of it could get very heavy. For us and SW patchy snow gradually dying out later.
