Can add some light snow, can confirm 1 or 2 bigger flakes mixed in just need an increase in intensity now!

Popped out front to side by garage to take meter readings and sunk into about a 14 inch drift!

V light snow pellets falling.

Thanks for your kind comment.

It was epic and on a par with some of the 1980s down south .

Temps at 850 are on there way down now but i would imagine we will need to get to -1 / -2c to ensure the milder air gets mixed out for the rain to snow although here its ice pellets now so maybe we are on the way back to snow..........

Morning all, wow what a day yesterday was! No thaw here just the occasional thud as the lumps of drifted snow fall foul of gravity. Think we must have had a bit of freezing rain overnight as hubby's car has a nice covering, I think my midnight pootle warmed my Landy up warm enough for it to stay clear; had to defrost the backdoor with a kettle of water too, it was frozen shut.

There's a bit of light snow floating down, happy for it to hammer down again today :-)

Confused, are the iow getting more snow today? Weather app says yes n bbc showed snow from 1 for us?

Now, unlikely the uppers will lower enough to give profile for snow.
