This has the hallmarks of a history defining snow storm

:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

I'd better make sure the camera is charged up.

Feeling a little bit giddy and that's before the JD comes out the cupboard :-)

My prayers for you and @Catacol are being answered!! Now I've just got to get the prayers for myself answered ... nearing an official dusting now but it's painfully slow!!

I’m really rooting for you mate big time. ?

Quite heavy now but only small flakes. Settling in places where there wasn’t any on the ground before but it’s being blown around a lot.

Severe weather now into the South-west. And on cue the Met Office site crashes ...

This could be a torrid 36 hours for parts of south-western Britain. It's all very well thinking it's fun, but this will quickly turn life threatening. When people will almost certainly die from this I find it remarkable how blasé the Met Office have been in issuing a Red warning for the South-west. How often do these life-threatening conditions affect these isles? Once in a decade at best.

Incredible conditions imminent ...

I could understand if the temp had risen to maybe -1 or 0 degrees, but it hasn't gotten above -3. It has dropped back to -3.2 now. Guaranteed ice day, but I hope it stays well below zero for statistical purposes. :D
