Just opened a bottle of cider the snow party has started!

2 hours until my 'Drinks off'

Still snowing here - surpised to be honest. Guess it is the second starter before the main.

How about a short one from me :D

I must write these reports more often, every time I try and focus it starts snowing - only 2 cm but it's starting to accumulate (-4.5c) .  I want to enjoy this and I'll be out in it shortly when I venture to the Post Office.

WARNING: Part 4 of my long report will be postponed until tomorrow due to adverse weather conditions. I'll just contribute with a few pics and short updates and comments.  David

If you get in the circle zone then inches & inches of snow will fall....

The Mendips might just scrape into that zone. Fingers crossed.

You've missed out the  other three info-graphic's that went with that tweet. They separated them to make it easier to understand.

Work have decided to send us home, although I live a 10 minute bike ride away! It's all good!

Anyhow, that wind is incredibly raw and with the light snow now sticking to everything and blowing around, it looks like I'm somewhere in Scandinavia, not Bristol!

Now this is where those of us on the eastern fringe need a bit of luck. Heavier bursts in the channel will produce a good fall here in Portsmouth by 3pm ... if they can keep their current intensity. Come on!!!

Steve drew big blue lines to indicate the direction of travel. Try looking at it through the bottom of a wine glass....
