Guys who told you that? I'm an Insurance Broker and that is complete rubbish.

Well that is interesting, maybe both are correct. I had the misfortune of having my car run into by another in snow some years back. I was pulled over and stationary with nearside wheels up on the verge at the time and a car coming the other way out of control slid into my car. I had witnesses to the fact.

Even so my insurers insisted that the insurers policy in snow conditions is to settle claims on a knock for knock basis. So, although you are insured your no claims is at risk if another vehicle hits you. They said this was because I went out knowing the conditions to be tricky.

I suggest ignoring the red area, what ever colour is on that map doesn't dictate actual weather!

yep, yellow snow is just having fun.....amber snow is a sign of dehydration, and if you have red snow, then I think you have a dose, get to a doctor! :drunk:

I can’t take my eyes off the Radar, it’s stunning! I need a decent hill ☹️ I’m thinking Wareham Golf Course, that has a couple of crazy hills!!

I take it it's meant to turn west yeah? Looking at the euro radar behind whats showing it's heading for south central quite a bit at the moment.

Looking at the radar, think i might be too far East for this afternoon's shennigans.

I thought that a few frames ago but it seems to be adjusting further East as we speak in line with what Chris Fawkes is saying. Keep the faith Bro!

There's some hills within Wareham forest where I go mountain biking. Might be a bit stony though? lol

I’m in Buckinghamshire. Looking at the radar we’re not in the firing line for the precip heading out of France is that right? It ties in with what the Metoffice app says I guess! :(

So in just under 2 hours, precipitation is expanding to the east very well! Maybe HIRLAM could have this nailed...

I'm quietly optimistic for us Islanders ATM, its usually the temps are just the wrong side of marginal  for us, but not in this case.
