Can we have some proper action at the red circle?

I’m having a panic attack that it’s all going to go too Far East and the SW are going to miss out

Fair bit of precip coming from the east by the looks of it

Yeah if it edges south around 10 miles please because it seems to be just zipping along the south of Salisbury from my perspective :D

Been patchy as it reached here so far. Hopefully peps up slightly. currently a lull.  chilterns taking some of the precip out of it.

Hello first post here , loving this weather activity but very much a novice, been following on here for a few days and following various Facebook groups , I really hope it comes Good for us tomorrow in Bristol and the South West as we never get anything like this but this suspense is killing me , hour by hour its changing from being nailed on to be hardly a dusting .

What is the state on play for Bristol at the moment ?

Thanks

I’m just a little bit to the north of you (just under the dark dot in the pink bit!) and we have a few flakes blowing in the wind and a very slight covering now, but not much!

As a fellow Gashead we should be used to let downs by now :D

And myself as a West Brom ST holder living in Bristol I’m also used to let downs (and impending relegation from the greed league). Emma DO NOT go East.

What the hell is going on on the northern coast of France? Check out the finger of precipitation extending out into the channel!

It could be a long night, already a few surprises around the country

Hello.

Possibly this. Time stamp early hours of this morning and is positioned where Bristol is. A starter for your main course.

This is forecast radar. The Red is snow and is moving roughly Westwards.

Chin up its going to be ok. I had a wobble earlier but feeling good again now. Plenty of moisture about to produce snow.

I do like the northward movement of that snow coming up from france, hopefully it peps up as it crosses the channel, but I'm assuming it will be sheared by the easterly wind before it reaches the south coast though ??

I'm guessing that forecast doesn't take into to account the fact that they are dying out?

Welcome! We're looking at 10-15 cms currently, IMO. Mostly tomorrow night.
