-4dgC here already, dew point got down to - 11.4 last night which is pretty impressive for here.

Nothing at all today, yesterday's dusting is long gone. Been sat just a short way south of the streamer for a couple of hours now but it seems to have reached it's southern extent. Fingers are crossed, mind.

Try sitting just north of a streamer for 3 days. :wallbash:

I think Bristol will be a tale of 2 cities tomorrow and Friday. City centre Bristol with heat effect probably won’t see more than 5 cm but surrounding towns no more than 3 - 4 miles away will see a lot more snow.

Chinio (a poster i genuinely respect for his knowledge) has posted in mad thread a few mins ago that the Hirlam 'take' on tomorrow should not be discounted. That forecasts main snow to our East (away from Bristol) and would favour more Dorset, Wilts, Hants and then into London area. Imby comment.

I know it's difficult, but I honestly wouldn't bother looking at any more chart output now. Watch the radar and just see what occurs. It won't actually be pinned down until the event is happening.

Agreed but

I CANT HELP IT!! I NEED A BEER! And it is now Beer O'clock especially as Spurs are playing so badly:drunk-emoji:

Well you’ve got pink over you, I’m in the warning area, but this is beginning to annoy me now, I can’t catch a streamer for the life of me ? i had better be rewarded tomorrow

I'd certainly accept that with no quabbles.

For me, it's going to be "bye bye model output" & hello radar tomorrow.  Only the radar will hold the truth.

Yeah I can imagine that's super frustrating :nonono:

It has to be our time soon, surely?

Who else is in the no laying snow club?

By the way, best of luck to all for the next couple of days. Much as I'd obviously love a bit to remember this spell as more than freezing cold but dry for me, like a lot of others I can't really think of a group of folk who deserve to get buried in snow more than you SW lot (I'm sure someone would disagree though!).

Very frustrating watching the snow being wasted in the channel

I think we all deserve it, nearly all of us have been snowless for so long now.

We're all supporting each other for the next few days in willing the snow towards us. :friends:

well I'm under that precipitation but all i've had is a few small flakes blowing around in the wind. Doesn't seem to warrant a warning?? Is anyone getting any decent snow from this?

Chinio's post had a Hirlam precip chart for 14.00 tomorrow so an Apples&Pears job.

Yes you're right. Model output is secondary now to actual.
