I can safely say it has been an ice day here today. Raises to or above zero were never even close.

 Temp -2C  Humidity 71%  Dewpoint -7C   Pressure 1014.3

Very similar here tho we had some lovely sunshine earlier that got rid of some of the most troublesome ice so more a 'bloody hell that was cold' day instead. The wind and wind chill has been the main feature

Blimey, how often do we get to see ALL of the SW covered with snow, not very often. And 13 cm for the Lizard!

As a side note, I am not forecast to get above freezing now until lunchtime Saturday.  For suburban Bristol, that's pretty damn good at this time of year.

Bless you Jay, that is not a whiteout my friend, I think you may see one tomorrow if the winds continue as forecast.  I think you are in a good spot

None at the moment, I'm afraid my ageing brain can't keep up with you lot, the pace is far too hot :shok:

Behave:D when you've gathered them, I would be interested in your thoughts as I respect your reading of the output.

So either my work are secret meteologists or they are seriously banking on the forecast for tomorrow. They have closed it to all staff and students.

Its not been above freezing for 3 days on the hills. No snow here today in Trowbridge I hope warnings come to fruition Thursday. Local colleges already closed in anticipation.

ive noticed on most of the precip charts being flagged up that there is an area of lighter accumulations for west cornwall and west devon, starting to annoy me now as im in that patch haha.  any ideas what may be causing this?
