Low of -5.8°C here which is easily the lowest since I’ve lived here.

Ok

So the Yellow Warning area for Saturday has increased in area...

Red is showing now for today in Edinburgh on the app (not on the main METO website)

We are one step away from red for tomorrow.

Amber now for Friday

Snow is falling already in SW and schools are closing - it is barely under the Yellow warning

Its coming isn't it? Will the M4 Snow shield hold up? :wallbash:

Anyone in here from the Isle of Wight? I'm having to spend the whole day watching the snow showers cross the island from my office while Portsmouth stays dry!! Is there a decent covering there yet?

If it says it will do what the warnings say... she wont be able to get on the M4...

So there  could be upto 20cm on Thursday followed by another  possible 15cm on Friday, I can see why the weather forecaster they had on the one show last night said there could be huge falls of snow for the south and south west!

There is one model that has a little extra for Dorset people - the HIRLAM - which has actually been very, very good this week so far:

Hope it works out for you!!

Re: Southampton, pretty much on the border of the heavy zone, though models such as ARGEPE/EURO4 have a bit more for you I think

So bloody frustrating watching that streamer just to the south. With a slight SE adjustment then more would benefit but at present its seems to be a pure easterly flow/

Living in Ringwood and working in Fareham, i really hope so as we're right on the border of the snow area judging by that map!
