You can live without a rear windscreen worst case some cars dont even have them.

I told her that's what her sleeve's for.

But apparently, if it's got one, it has to work for the MOT.

Had me 0.01mm of snow here in good old bracknell. Never quite sure whether we belong in central South or South East tbh.

Friday looks like delivering 2-5cm at present. But other than that I'll take the hat and scarf weather and the sunshine before we head in to spring.

Be interesting to see who gets what from Fridays event though. The sw looking most favourable from the majority of model outputs. But a 100 mile shift in a any direction is entirely plausibleat this stage.

Sorry to butt in, and not weather related, but mine has been bust for 3 years and sailed through MOT. Test guy says it is irrelevant to MOT. Saves a few quid.

I haven't time to read all posts from the last few hours but wanted to add how extremely rare it is to have convection and showers moving in the exact opposite direction to normal!

Have had brief snow showers today, the last one causing some snow to stick :-) .

i feel that if we have any more this evening then it will stick around.

The poor met office issuing warnings left , right n centre . Thursday and Friday now looking " sticky " in my neck of the woods .

In the short range model thread John H was saying how he hadn't seen temps like this for some while and that it was unusual for any time during our winter let alone two days before meteorological spring ( I'm v old fashioned and still consider ourselves to be several weeks off of spring 19-23rd March for me ).

Still , having a viral ear infection, yet again I gave no idea how cold it feels because to me it's unbearably warm / hot.

The sun sun is now however shining brightly again .

Keep safe eveyone, but enjoy as well.

Temp -0.7 feeling considerably less

pressure 1023 hPa

wind ENE 10mph

dew point -4.3 C

Yeah, I get that. Just thought it'd be funny if it was.  Cheers.

its still giving some more in Caversham Reading, and more to come from Reading..bit heavier than I am comfortable in to drive back to Newbury in. There is a heavy PPN over middle of London, so question is do I go now? How heavy is that PPN over London

It has finally snowed in Swanage quite a heavy shower for 10 mins all gone now.

Fantastic nice to hear! I grew up in Worth Matravers and remember some great snowy weather in February 1994. Sledging over the lychetts on east man, also remember the landlord of the  pub cutting a large plastic barrel in half and using that to go down the hill with the pub dogs in too!!!

My sister is in central London and she said it was very heavy for a while but short lived. We have zilch this side of Reading!

Just a short flurry but enough to leave a hint of white on the grass temporarily.
