We don’t do well in northerly’s, north westerly’s or easterly’s!!! I’m wondering what the hell its going to take to ever see proper snow again for our region lol

the jan 2013 event was an active cold front that came in from the WNW.....gave several inches widely.......you must have been very drunk that day to have not noticed.....lol......or was it jan 2012?....maybe it was me that was too drunk...but I defintely remember inches of white powder and I'm not talking the illegal kind

Can confirm we got nothing out of that in NE Bristol

Good Evening all, was a beautiful sunny start to our day, but we did fine get some fun little snow flurries from around about 2:30pm onwards, though dry and freezing out there now!

Interesting few days coming up me thinks

Just poked my head round the south ease thread door... saw a video of Southend and now feel sick. Britain’s weather can be so cruel... friends I know are now posting asking “what snow” when there has literally been a wafting of icing.... and pictures with their two feet “ saying two feet here” ... when clearly no snow. I may start crying now ?

March 2013 was certainly disappointing for snow in this neck of the woods. Plenty of showers but very little in accumulations.

I only remember there was one in winter 2012/13 where it snowed overnight and at dawn there were a couple of cms of snow. That was the last real snow I've had.
