Looks like the Siberian air is now moving over our areas.

Dew point starting dropping like a stone this afternoon here, but look at that feels like temperature already.

Enjoy fellow Southerners!

You don't need luck unless you want to avoid blizzards

True FH! Just gone back through that forecast and if that blizzard happens like that, it will be an epic event!

Well that's interesting. If that turns out to happens and moves west a couple of miles, I'm happy.

1.1°C here so still above freezing but the dewpoints now at -7°C which is the lowest I've recorded.

Temp dropping in Fareham under the clear sky, have brought my guinea pig indoors because it's so cold bless him. Hope those charts I posted are still valid, they're on the Netweather site under "Regional snow risk maps".

But when I looked at the 7 day forecast for my area, snow risk is 0% all day Tuesday. So, the forecast is either going against the charts, or vice versa.

Yeah, hence my caveat. For anyone that has paid access to the charts, they can check too whether I am seeing things or not lol.

Really like to see the gfs take a step in the right direction later, then all runs in the morning. Too long down here with no snow.  I did spend 4 days here tho but it's not imby so it doesn't count.

However, GFS 12z looks in line with snow risk charts. Fingers crossed.
