That’s the weather station mile down the road at the secondary school, looks like they left the heating on full over the weekend ?

It'll be rain on Friday down here on the south coast. Snow further inland.

Damn your good.. bbc should have signed you up instead of meteo group. Might as well sign off for the week, no point in checking.

Anything could happen at the moment... :hi:

I think i'm going to take a break for a day or two. I held back on getting on board with it all, just to make sure all of the jigsaw pieces were in place before letting myself get excited. The final piece eventually went in to place, and then it turned out to be a piece from another jigsaw. It was the same shape, but had the wrong bit of picture on it. If I was around the Shaftesbury area, I would be excited. However, the marginality of it here has taken all of the fun away.

What's not to like? Our region steals most of the blizzard warning at this time. Its all to play for.

When was the last time we had an ice storm in this country?

Proper freezing rain I think last time it fell was 90's when I was living in south east but I wouldnt call it an ice storm it didnt bring power lines and trees down just glazed everything.

I'd have to google that. But if you want to know what they can do, take a look at some aftermath vids from Canada or North USA on youtube. You probably won't find footage of one whilst its happening.

Too much model fatigue, dear boy. And I'm not talking of the page 3 variety either.

Just added this to my emergency supplies, its for friday, if we get blizzards then will have a wee nip in celebration - no blizzards then will down it to drown sorrows. Win-Win.

Lol......if you take a balanced view and bare in mind how much the models chop and change over a few days its no wonder there are so many anti climax's on here, just take a deep breath and count to ten ?

People posting charts on the MAD thread showing snow for the 13th March when nobody really knows whats going to happen in 5 days. Utter lunacy.
