So a spell of heavy snow moving east to west followed by a thaw! NOT!!!!

Can be substantially higher then that with a continental airmass :), yup its a snow maker alright.

I'm pretty sure that would be snow at 168 from that low . Can any body confirm this ?

Got to say, i rather the cleaner versions of the GFS and UKMO runs as that makes more sure we got enough cold embedded in before any shortwaves and kinks in the flow starts to become embedded and make the gs alot more complicated.

One thing for sure it would be a snow low. Phenomenal ECM again just like the 00Z broadly.

All snow down to sea level right on the coast. Dew points well below freezing. Temps of zero also.

Great runs, but how many times have we said this week "here comes the cold at 192 on the ECM". It seems determined to big the limelight!
