I expect it to be near zero for quite a while but some rebounding to be expected with flooding potential (as in 1947).

Going to leave this as late as possible whilst next week looks cold the length of this spell is open to some doubt at present will it be a snap or a few weeks...

Despite a very cold first third, it's rare for the cold to persist as per 2013.

I don't see the deep cold persisting as long as in 2013. Let's say 5.8 and 81mm.
