Went to the Pennines in the end. Should have gone to Teesdale, but there wasn't time, so settled for Weardale. Couple of shots...

    Got some on my shed and garage cleared them off one side of the garage as the bins are under them and I'm not risking one falling off onto my head

    That is one hell of a streamer for North East Scotland, very impressive on the radar goes all the way back to Sweden

    I think thats what intensified the showers up this morning.  Unfortunately its passed.

    fair enough, looks like newcastle missed mostly everything fun. Maybe tonight/tomorrow will give us something.

    Got that too.  However its a narrow shower so wont last long.  Behind that there is not a lot coming on the radar yet

    They did, England and Wales if I remember, but unbelieveably this is the first ever red warning for snow in Scotland!!

    White-out here in Belford for last 1hr+. And a snow plough just passed my house. Enjoying every minute of this wondrous weather. Amazed at efforts of bin men who turned up early this am - thank you for huge efforts!
