Could it not be convection ramping up again as the low in the south pulls away west?

There are over 100 channels on my freeview. There are countless videos in every area of human knowledge and culture on YouTube. There are innumerable sites of wonder and interest on every topic known to humankind online.

And I am fixated on a vague blob on a radar that might not exist.

Up to -1.1C here now, it almost feels 'mild'.
Icy wind just won't go away though.

Aye the beast is on her way, made a real pig of herself

Most likely and radar having trouble pinning it down

Shows how complex these things are, we still have decent uppers howling across the North Sea but it’s as if a a flick has been switched off on the snow making machine. Mind it’s some thing else when on full steam as we have seen

Shame it's not happening tonight, because the wind out there is something else.

It has to be said the models today are not good for an extension for cold weather past Saturday

All seems a bit doom and gloom in here. We have had a fantastic 4/5 days of great memorable weather. Yea we all wish/hope it would go on longer and have bucket loads of snow but it has to end one day. Once it’s gone and snow melted I think we can all be happy with this winter and look forward to some warm weather.

Or is that just me

Turn around. Walk through that door. And never darken this place again.

That blob is being pushed towards Hamburg by the incoming low from the South. A couple of days to regroup me thinks. Or maybe 90 minutes to find my 30th day of falling snow.

It has been epic but gawd am I shattered from so many sleepless nights.

Was just thinking if only we could go straight from this to nice spring warmth without prolonged slush. And without bad flooding.

Met office has 80% chance of snow by midnight for here.  The L.P. is pulling away to the west now, but I can't see convection building that fast.  Unless "The Blob" attacks

They can build quick, I remember a few years ago watching the radar and nothing showing then a shower built and got bigger within about 30 mins and hit us on the coast and dropped a fair bit, not saying that’s going to happen tonight but things can crop up quickly.

The wind is still really cutting here and making a right noise, is it tomorrow pm it drops away ?

Staring at my factor 10 earlier... If it's going to get warmer, please increase from, say, 11.30pm Saturday to 9am Sunday, completely melting the slush and starting again green and lush. Daffodils getting a push, buds on the Bush, putting away my snow brush, giving the toilet a flush and being able to use my factor 10

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
