Does Chris Fawkes mean the warning area should be completely moved to Yorkshire or that it should include it??

I'm watching Neil Bradshaw's site at South Shields with interest, as we never had an easterly as cold as this while I was taking records from nearby Cleadon.  My lowest temperature with a strong easterly straight off the North Sea was -1.2C on 1 December 2010.  Neil's site has fallen to -3.2C!

He says extended, so I'm pretty sure he just means over a larger area :)

I am just up the road from you and saw the orange sky. You must be in the same blizzard as me.

Still nothing here apart from a bit of light snow as the showers past to the south and the North.  I am in the snowless corridor as highlighted.  Ever the large shower  thats in the corridor which is right in land formed after it went past me.   Cant see there being anything here until the wind direction changes or the trough arrives

Pretty surreal makes it look even more deep winter.  Can't believe we've got this so close to Spring after a non eventful winter so far lol

I'm under the red just north of that line. Had plenty here. Just the nature of these showers. Hope your luck changes.
