This really is such a slow moving set up so cant see too much change in direction of showers from what we've seen over last few hours

It's the netweather extra radar so requires subscription. There is free version but 15 minute lag I believe. This is the old v4 radar, 5 min delay, which allows wind vector overlays. You can pay monthly for couple of quid I believe.

After this band.  It looks like a quieter period.  Noting of significance brewing out at sea.

Sticking my neck out here as I have said that before and had egg on my face

Agree there's a sudden stop in convection I thought it might have fired up after a bit.  Still plenty to play for though and I'm happy after today.

This shower over me must have suddenly back built as it's now snowing heavily when the radar says the shower has passed.

Go 1 Mile inland and you see the difference, many a time I've driven to work at Kirkleatham and there's snow there and nothing here

Mentioned before it looked less active out in N sea.

Think it will die down after midnight then pick up tomorrow morning but a more N - S flow to showers down the east.

I dont think the North Sea is finished quite yet. Plenty of activity out the way of radar range.

Hammering down on and off this evening, from time to time it's knocking internet out which is odd as it's ADSL not local wifi.
Could be static on phone line or microwave link elsewhere in the system.
It keeps triggering movement camera and emailing me stills like this.
