This streamer is slowly transferring North and heading right for me.  They dont often travel directly along their length.  There is normally a north or south element in the travel.   Going dark here....

i think that last shower was a bit sleety mindue it was very light temp has risen to 2 degrees, temps should start to fall back closer to 0c after 3ish

From heavy graupel to light snow but the mini streamer looks like it'll affect this area as well as Chester / Birtley / Durham areas soon.  As well as parts of Tyneside as it builds.

 

Moderate snow 5/10

 

Edit : 6/10 but thick and settling everywhere again topping up what melted from before.  Huge flakes too.

Looks like some heavy showers are on the way here also. Looking very dark. 

Scrap that it’s missing me by a mere 1 mile. Someone is getting a decent shower though.

Snowing nicely here.  Medium-large flakes.  Intensity 6/10.  Struggling to lie due to the sun earlier.  Temp falling fast

Having just driven from aycliffe to spennymoor then over to Wynyard the difference in snow amounts and temperature is very notable.

Spennymoor 0.5c and plenty snow still

Wynyard 3.c very little snow left (melting quick) with very sleety shower

Aycliffe 1c  with snow thawing slower and still hail/snow showers be it light.

Nearly all cover gone now here,  somehow missed almost every shower here today, a couple clipping here produced sleet/hail.  All to light to fall as snow

Feel your pain. Every one of these showers has missed me by a mile. 

I'm in the middle of every shower and its a thin line of nothing.
