Models are really ramping up on the potential Easterly and snow risk to end next week... few more runs needed.

Happy Winter, doc!

I haven't followed it that much - looking good for here or mainly EA/Kent? I know that E'lies tend to be better for there, whereas we ideally want a NE'ly.

Thanks,

Snow detail very uncertain to be honest, we could get a SE, E or NE depending on placement of high etc. Main thing is for the trend to colder conditions... let the ride begin.

Still light snow flurries here

This NEly next week could be spectacular.  Much better for snow amounts down the East coast than the recent Beast, as that just blew them over the East coast quick and concentrated them inland.

You cant help get that feeling that we're on the cusp of something mouth watering for cold.  I just with we were within 24hrs and counting it down.

Some light snow grains like glitter blowing in. Day 3 of falling snow, can I beat last season's record of 40.

Has it all gone Pete tong then with the cold? Mod thread seems to think so. It’s dire in there this morning. One min blasting cold charts never seen before to people saying the chances have gone.

confused ?‍♂️

You really need to spend less time in there mate, i rarely go in as emotions and imby-ism to high.

Great uncertainty regarding next week, huge spread in ensembles around 24th onwards. A trend to a more westerly as high collapses is plausable but still a smaller cluster compared to other options ie cold.

Analyzing every det model run is hard work... Stick to ensembles and take all models at set time frame in to account for a bigger picture

Ever the optimist!!

Might as well say it as it is.

Look how quickly the mood turned sour in the mad thread when things went to pot in the past few days...
