Been the same all day

There's been plenty of snowflakes here in the showers, also huge graupel, some as large as 3-4mm..At least it doesn't hurt as much as hail.!! Still not very pleasant when the gale-force winds drive it into ya 'boat-race'..!!

Just catching up with the thread and also defrosting after watching Marske lose 2-0 to Stockton , plenty of showers here today some heavy leaving coverings, more showers to come tonight and all will stick as the ground temp has fell away.

For example there we have just had a really heavy shower grains/graupel didnt add anything to the paths or road it was just blown straight down the street, the wind chill must be horrendous out there

-3 and showers are adding up this evening. Drifting is becoming quite serious during them.
Had to drive a few miles earlier and it was hard to see the road at times but no serious depth yet for 4x4 to be troubled.

Not a great deal here.  Small estate roads were covered, now frozen so be very interesting for any cars.

Nothing special though....just looks like theres been a light snow shower

Showers starting to clump together now so should give longer spells of snow, a decent covering now with more to come,  what a winter this had been

Ran out of words, this is bloody mental. The snow machine has well and truly been switched on. It’s laying, pretty quickly.

Is it proper flakes

Never seen that before.

Remarkable evening for mid March with heavy snow showers leaving 4cms of dry, powdery snow on even main roads, and with the temperature below -3c this spell is giving Beast 1.0 a run for the money.

Surprised you guys to the east of the Pennies haven't had more depths, still plenty of time.
