Anyone with any thoughts on how the ECM looks for us?

Keeps us in the cold, at 96hrs we are under -12c 850's with 80kph winds straight off the North Sea.

It keeps us under colder air... reload from the NE?

That's what they are suggesting in the model discussion. Very different from last night when it was all doom and gloom. Really don't know what to think

GFS is going for 5mm/hr rainfall rate for those who take the direct hit, which could be as much as 10-15cm per hour for 3 or so hours.

No, that would be very extreme. Looking at maybe 5-7cm per hour. At the end of Tuesday, I'm hoping for at least 15cm if lying snow, more with drifts.

I see the Met Office expect 'Thundersnow' for areas under warnings especially around the coast.

Seems like i have been waiting an age for the snow start, especially since this was picked up by the models a while back.

Seems to be edging north on each run, awaiting the 18z with interest.

That period of heavy snow for the South on Friday seems to make its way up to us on that forecast?

On that forecast yes long long way off yet the track of that low is far from nailed down
