A dry night with a good deal of thin, high cloud. During the early morning the cloud thickened and lowered to give hill fog and shortly after dawn there  were one or two light showers of sleet. Further sleet showers since 0900.

The intermittent light sleet first thing this morning turned to light rain and drizzle by 1030 and the hill fog cleared by about the same time. A clearance arrived shortly after midday and the afternoon was dry with sunny intervals.
