Surface temps around 0c max daytime!! Lower with any snow pack and limited sun.

The beast* thing about this run thus far is the eastern side of the high isn't being sucked down towards Asia and keep the tap of the coldest uppers on flow for longer

I was going to start the search for the first run to get the -16c isotherm cleanly into the UK. The the GFS just bends the winds slightly south of east which allows the coldest air to simply hop across the Dover  strait and land in southern England without being moderated.
