Hope you blokes are right, but I thought the UKMO had to come on board.  Please correct me if I’m wrong!

They are on board, have been for a while. Their model isn’t 100% on board but I’m not sure that’s a big issue at this stage.

I must admit that I am starting to get excited.... I may go and panic buy essential things tomorrow. Like gin. And sledges!

One London bus special coming up. I suspect this will be me in around ten days time...

Image result for damn you snow gif

Seriously, the snow amounts from those beasterly charts would make getting to work very difficult.

Yes whilst I love snow etc if those charts came off I would be cursing the snow , at my work most staff live the other side of London and it would be an absolute nightmare , so whilst I want some snow, I welcome it with tripedation.

Blue skies in abundance here in Hastings today and feeling warmer than the max of 9.4c thanks to near calm conditions. It looked and felt springlike with plenty of folk out and about enjoying the sunshine.

On a personal note, some time ago I responded to an appeal put out by Hastings Borough Council and as a result attended a briefing today and have now joined the Hastings Weather Volunteer Team.

The team is responsible for collecting daily data from the Councils weather station and feeding it into the Met Office Weather Observation Website.

I only moved down here 3 years ago and had no idea HBC even monitored the local weather to such an extent so I'm really looking forward to playing my part in adding to data which apparently dates back as far as 1875. :)

I'll be phoning Wealden DC Monday morning to make sure snow ploughs are in place, and coordinated, in readiment for the arrival of "the beast".
