That MO Forecast looks interesting for this evening and overnight!

Didn’t think anything was due to start till later Monday so would be an early bonus.

Any chance of scaling back the back-biting comments? IMBY-ism in the MAD thread is par for the course, but in here.....:nea:

As I said last night, let's just enjoy the potential for many (probably not all, but surprises do happen...) to have a decent snowfall for the first time in years!

From around 8pm here, temperatures dropping already, luckily my birds are very very tame, mummy bird abandoned baby who was getting cold, so i put him under another female who didnt even blink, just, oh you want me to sit on this random baby and keep it warm, ok, i'll just feed it first (proceeds to feed it).

That's out of line with the Met warning, Kold. That has southern Essex in the firing line so I don't get your Thames and unexpected troughs comment.  Unless I'm missing something?

Sorry, S.essex will be fine as your close enough to the Thames to benefit from any streamers that do crop up. Being a S.Essex native, I'm fully aware of the local weather!

Really hoping for a cm or two tonight to whet my appetite, and then a nice big top up through tomorrow evening and into Tuesday. Chuffed to be in the Amber zone - hope it gets extended as more of us will be in the game! Good luck to all! :D
