I don’t mind running out of tinned and cupboard as the deep freezer is nicely stocked. I think my lot would be complying about who used all the toilet roll, I’m sure they eat it with the rate they go through it ?

luckily i have plenty of toilet roll. also some stuff for stews in freezer. also some long life milk, looking forward to steaming hot porridge while it snows, with oxo broth and hot chocolate although not all at the same time.maybe some hot milk, haven't had plain hot milk for ages. hot ribena as well.

Place your repeat prescriptions in, and pick them up before the weekend .

people remember the food, not always the pills.

Yuk hate milk, I eat my cereals dry. I do have those satchels of porridge, one box is pecan the other is blueberry , and the box that none of my kids will eat which is mine is the coconut porridge. You can bet if the house ran out of food except the items containing coconut my kids would starve lol

I wish I could enjoy the run up to this cold spell but something just isn’t sitting right with me.

Both run from relatively "stale" data... which translates generally to 18-24 hours behind current model runs. So expect both to start reporting lower temps and maybe snow flurries from tomorrow.

Hehe, hope the power doesn’t get cut off. Have my camping stove, just in case.

My son leaves one of everything in the packet whether is a slice of meat in the fridge or a biscuit left in the packet.  The best is the butter when the tub is left in the fridge and there’s not enough to even butter a slice of toast.  So annoying.

I honestly don't think we have anything to worry about Bill, they will be very cautious on temps till after midweek i would say.

I know people on here have been stung a few times over the last few years but at the end of the day we are just hobbyists and it really only lets us down, but when it goes pearshaped and the Bbc have told everyone they get loaded with criticism and blame, so going on the last 8 years they've probably taken enough stick to remain extremely cautious.

Rest assured:good:
