Not my council yet, only the Met Office Cold Weather Health Watch Service talking about potential upcoming cold weather warnings in the coming few weeks.

You have to laugh even with a raging easterly if the snow charts were to be correct its more north eastern areas of England and Scotland that would get the dumping while most of us run around like headless chickens to each window trying to find a falling snow grain

I bet it will only be places like Kent with snow streamers unless the easterly is coming directly east not south east, we can hope.

REALLY pleased for you guys, if i were living down there i'd be beyond excited !!

Anyone care for a lodger next week :drunk-emoji::D

We shall see. Could still go Pete Tong but looking increasingly likely to see a decent freeze. Have a spare room, a sledge and a hill nearby, if you bring some booze, all good

The PM Models thus far have been great with the GFS mean down to -14c for Kent

If we end up with this flow for 60-70 hours

Then many will AVERAGE between 0.5 & 1cm per hour ...

but remember the flow needs to stay at this optimal angle EENE not ESE...

The instability is created by the difference of the cold air and the water of the north sea, but at this time of year the sea temps are at there lowest so will this affect the shower activity?
