The cat is outside sunbathing in the warmth of the sun today :)

However looking ahead, I have very minor surgery on my back next monday, so although I love snow and cold I really hope it doesnt affect the surgery

I'm aware this is probably not very easily answered, but when would snow likely begin given the latest output? I am meant to be catching a train to and from Euston on the 24th/25th. Thanks for any help.

Hi Staffordshire at this moment of time it will be really hard to answer that question. I would say nothing is nailed yet, despite the fact there is a lot of excitement and hype I think it will be better in this case to be realistic and cautious and not jump too high at a single model output.

The way things are standing (this may be subject to a change) but if this cold weather verifys I think we are looking more in the way of snow flurries for now rather than a complete whiteout. As mentioned there are still a lot of twists and turns going on. So my best advice would be to update nearer the time  when there is likely to be less of an uncertainty.

Best is to just hold the party poppers and wait with fingers crossed hopefully our dreams may be about to come true for us cold lovers. I did say hopefully not definately

kind regards all the best

I am also wondering about next weekend, I have a stand at the wedding show in Brentwood, it's the only one I do and just once a year so it's quite a big deal for my job. After that I'll be over the moon if we get all the snow!

Hope it all goes well for you it's a lovely spring day here in Walthamstow today would be hard to believe that in a weeks time it won't possibly feel like spring.

Best wishes

Had to take my fleece jacket off while digging on the allotment. It was 13C and beautiful in the sunshine - first warm sunny day in ages :)

The cat is loving the door being ajar, so she can come and go as she wants - she hates using the cat-flap lol

Thank you! It usually does, it's just lovely to have people see my work printed, it's far better than on a screen! But then I still prefer vinyl so I am biased in that analogue way.

Beautiful day here too, blossom around, crocuses popping up... if the snow does come it's going to be a surprise for anyone not keeping an eye on the weather. I remember last March it was warm enough for the pub garden a few times!

What is nice is events like this mean I learn a little more than when the weather is just mundane. I take time to work out what everyone is talking about properly!

there was a three legged cat on my garage roof, it tried to jump on to next door's garage roof but gave its ribs a righ twhack on the concrete wall, then it vanished, i hope it hasn't fallen in the undergrowth in the alley, nobody can get to it there.

Awww bless that's nice ?. I am stuck here at my Saturday job here in Upton Park so keep standing out side the shop to catch some warmth from the sun before it goes down.

Being so clear at the moment if we don't get any cloud cover I suspect temperatures will dip away quite quickly once the sun is gone.

AnywayI am trying to keep myself away from looking into the MOD thread just incase there's been a downgrade or something lol ? .

Hope you enjoy the rest of the day

kind regards ????

Oh please just happen, once in a lifetime event?

This time it just might you know, certainly has much more meat on the bones than previous easterly attempts. EPS mean anomaly pretty much backs up the chart above. Next week cold but mainly dry and the week after getting even colder with significant risk of heavy snow for the south & East.
