Clear intervals during the first half of the night then increasing cloud during the early hours. Light snow arrived by 0745, mixed in with ice pellets at times, turning to continuous moderate snow since 0845.

A short period of snow this morning, turning to sleet by 1000 and to rain by 1030. Rain continued for the rest of the morning before reverting to moderate drizzle early in the afternoon. It became dry by mid afternoon but by that time there was thick hill fog so the overall feeling was one of dampness.
