Now the met office put me down heavy snow at 2pm for some reason. It supposed to clear here in the next hour.

I'd be surprised if it is now snowing there now.

But you will need to take your dog for a walk early tomorrow as it won't be a pleasant day.

Tomorrow morning could be anything. Wet snow was falling at Teggs Nose this morning and there was still a covering from the other day but not substantial, although I guess it is all subjective. The roads are all open and clear so far.

Yep - probably going to mam tor, its over 500m. Will be going in the morning as the afternoon looks like rain !

Yes and also strong wind which will make it unpleasant.

Bloody hell. Huge snow flakes falling all of a sudden. How long's the precip staying around? 

 

The days with falling snow for this winter here must be in the late 20s by now. Haven't kept records unfortunately.
