It's been a nice day here today , been jet washing the front of the house and washing the cars,it felt pleasant in the sun and out of the wind , it's got me yearning for some warmth ..Cyprus in just under 5 weeks :yahoo:

the best option would be that fronts come in from the West and stall against the block

Yep as in Feb 91.

I was knee deep in snow up at Carbrook, Tameside.

I’ve got a horrible cold.  Salt&pepper  chicken is the only thing I can taste.

A hot curry clear those passages and as for Moki no hot curry for you as your passages sound like they are clear  chicken soup and flat cola is your best bet

I had 3 colds and a chest infection between September and December, We need really cold weather to kill off these bugs.

Not sure what this fish n bean stew is going to taste like, good job chippy is open ?

MetO saying light rain tomorrow, BBC saying light rain.

So hoping on a miracle. 7am-12am time frame for the front, which is pretty much worst time, maybe if it stalled into the evening or got here early we'd be laughing.

Doubt it will be anything to shout about last night o was proved wrong but it was short lived which is even more frustrating that not getting any at all it was all white last night then started to freeze lovely and crunchy under foot I though that it would definitely still be here this morning but no shame

I’d say that’s a pretty good time tbh. Diurnal minimum is around 9/10 am.  Earlier the better though.

3.4°C here and falling fast. About to surpass the forecast minimum for the night already. Not really a surprise in an off-shore wind.

Well it didn’t take long for most of last nights snow to become slush and then disappear.

not a bad effort while it lasted though, just a shame that tomorrow’s event is looking to go the shape of the pear for most of us.
