Just had the heaviest shower of the day of hail and snow. If this starts again when it goes dark, it’ll be game on for something accumulating.

Finally!! Heavy snow, big flakes, all blowing around in the wind. Starting to stick, but ask depends on how long this lasts!! East lancs!!

Been a frustrating day here. Just got really giddy over a moderate hail shower that lasted for all of 4 minutes.

Same for you! So many chances this winter. I would just like something to stick around for more than 10 minutes! I actually think in terms of accumulated snow, out of the 3.5 winter seasons I’ve lived here, this is the worst, yet had some of the most ‘wintry shower’ days!

This is basically a golden opportunity for heavy snow but the precipitation isn't playing ball.

Another moderate to heavy hail shower. Looks like a train of decent showers building out into the Irish Sea.
