The OX did say it would pep up so I'll hold back and see if the radar resembles what that chart shows.

That sour face next to the snow chart! lol

Use meteoradar.co.uk. It updates every 5 mins :good:unlike rain today which is every 15 I think.

The netweather radar is 5 minute refresh too

Why is she branding the PPN as showers? It's a small low with a front wrapped around it, what's interesting is that there is a waved tip on hence the forecast for something heavy even on the west side of the Pennines.

Looks like the waved tip could be waving bye to me and heading further West.  Never mind its only snow.

Night everyone. I have kids to get to school and a drive to clear (Maybe)

That face tells a story...it says "oh sh*t I hope I don't get snowballed again".

I had a look at the BBC Wales forecast to be greeted by Derek Brockway talking of "major disruption" "blizzards" and "a foot of snow with much higher drifts in Mid, North and East Wales".

I’ve noticed on the met app that the wind direction will change overnight to NNW. This might account for the snow forecast overnight over here?

That’s just the surface wind on the Western side of the low. It will veer back to the north-east again as the low passes. The wind higher up remains north-easterly throughout.
