It has now put me down heavy snow from 5am to 8am, light 8am to 9am, heavy again from that time to 11am. :)

Both the GFS and ICON agreeing for the trough past through our region.

Sounds good mate. Start up a business, open a pub an call it the Snirrel (the best snowless pub on the Wirral).

Wow I just checked and the met office app says  90% probability snow for me in the morning?

Met office looks great now for Oldham aswell heavy snow from 6am till after lunch  then light snow

Just wondering with the apps upgrading to heavy snow whether this low has shifted track slightly, more of a direct hit instead of a glancing blow. It looks to be coming in slightly further North which is good. It wouldn't take much of a shift to produce heavier snow for the majority of us. The models diverge between the red and black lines, obviously the red line would be better for all on a SW trajectory.

That red line goes right over my house.

knowing my luck it will act as a 20 mile wide roof and keep me bone dry.
