My met app put me down light snow for 1 hr then heavy snow from 6am to 9am then light snow for 2 more hrs.

Heard in the radio today "heavy snow set to hit the uk, however, the worst of the weather will not hit Cumbria." Typical and inductive of this winter so far, sticking to my guns and only expecting a few flurries At best with no major accumulations here in south lakes.

Where about in the south lakes are you? I used to live in Liverpool (now spain) and the lakes was always my go to place for some fun in the snow!
