Temp plummeting, currently 1.6°C. Will be 13th air frost of the winter tonight. Interesting to see how many consecutive air frosts I get. If I get a nice day this week it will be the first since 2010.

Calm down folks it’s not mad thread, sorry second SE regional thread.:)

our expectations are always lower here and if this latest severe winter spell turns into a letdown we just put it in the trophy cabinet at the side of all the others we have accumulated this winter and pick ourselves up again ready for the next garden path we can be led down.

 Well if I get any more than half a centimetre of snow then it’s already the best cold spell for 5 years so I’ll be happy with that;  Any more than 2 inches and it’s the best for 8 years.  Any more than 11 inches andit’ss the best for...well...ever......anyway you get the idea.
